Superior Machine & Hydraulics is currently seeking an employee.
The ideal candidate would have 5 to 10 years of experience working in a job shop like ours.
Duties would include: repairing hydraulic cylinders, including disassembly, inspection, machining of parts, welding, resealing and reassembly. General machining with saws, lathes, hand tools, and other machine tools. Welding and fabrication using plasma cutting, stick welding, TIG welding, MIG welding. Materials include steel, stainless steel, aluminum, and other alloys.
The ideal candidate would also be competent in quoting jobs, dealing with customers in both English and French, and leading other employees. Ideally, they would possess a strong work ethic, they would be dependable. Have a positive can-do attitude and create a good environment for work in our shop. They would be self-motivated being able to work effectively with little direction. They would be team oriented, making the most out of collaboration with other employees, they would be an effective communicator, both with customers and with employees and they would also have to be flexible and adaptable in meeting the needs of our customers.
